Employees need their space to work, and it helps when they can customize that small space to their convenience. Studies have shown that customized workspaces lead to happier employees who in turn lead to a higher productivity.

Big companies all over the world are adopting new and unconventional office designs to keep their employees happy and productive. While happy employees exhibit more creativity and a greater enthusiasm for work, unhappy employees are more inclined to take sick leaves and even quit their jobs.

Take a look at this infographic created by the University of Southern California’s Online Master’s in Applied Psychology program that illustrates how office designs have evolved through the years.

Comfortable, refined and copacetic, leather chairs are a staple of any good office. However, like all good things, leather wears down with time. If you don’t clean your leather chairs well, they will deteriorate quickly.

Here is Nicole Groshek from National Business Furniture with some tips on cleaning leather chairs to make them last long.

How to Clean Leather Chairs

These leather cleaners are usually a safe bet as they’re specifically formulated to keep leather furniture looking its best.

Vinegar and linseed oil. This home remedy involves a mixture of one part vinegar and two parts linseed oil. Apply the mixture to your leather upholstery and leave it on for a few hours. We recommend doing this before heading off to a long meeting or leaving the office for the day. After the mixture dries, buff the chair with a clean rag to create an attractive shine. See full post
